Nudging2Move presented at the XXV International Scientific and Practical Conference on Physical Culture, Sports and Health

On 4 December 2025, Olga Beshlei of the NGO Youth. Science. Sport. Healthy Movement of Ukraine presented the Nudging2Move project at the XXV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Physical Culture, Sports, and Health: Status, Problems, and Prospects”. The conference was held online, bringing together researchers and practitioners from across the international scientific community.

The presentation introduced the project’s objectives and approach, drawing on evidence from nudging initiatives already implemented across Europe — including gamification-based schemes, digital nudges, air-quality routing tools, and community step challenges — to contextualise Nudging2Move’s contribution to the field. The relevance of the project’s work was underscored by global data indicating that more than 80% of adolescents and 27% of adults do not meet recommended physical activity levels, highlighting the public health imperative for accessible, scalable behavioural interventions.

The conference participation reflects the partnership’s ongoing commitment to disseminating project findings within the wider scientific community. Looking ahead, the project will advance into its next phase, encompassing data analysis, local workshops, and the pilot testing of nudging interventions developed by each partner organisation.
