Nudging2Move presented at the 5th International Conference on Sports Sciences

The Nudging2Move project was presented at the 5th International Conference on Sports Sciences (ICSS2025), held from 6 to 8 November 2025 at KE.DE.A., Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The presentation was delivered under the theme “Walking, Cycling, Connecting: The Future of Urban Life”, situating the project within a broader academic and professional dialogue on active and sustainable urban mobility.

The presentation explored how walking and cycling, as accessible and sustainable modes of transport, can reshape cities into healthier, more connected, and more inclusive environments. It highlighted the potential of behavioural approaches — including the nudging strategies at the core of the project — to drive meaningful change in mobility habits at the community level.

Participation in ICSS2025 reflects the project’s commitment to engaging with the wider research community and contributing to the evidence base on active mobility. Through Nudging2Move, partners aim to strengthen public health outcomes, foster social cohesion, and support the development of a new culture of wellness and sustainable mobility across Europe.
